Radnor Manufacturing was pleased to receive a SeaPort-e prime contract award on July 15, 2010. Our functional areas to be performed are:
-3.4: Prototyping, Pre-Production, Model-Making, and Fabrication Support
-3.11: Quality Assurance Support
Our region of support is Zone 2, National Capital Zone.
Radnor Manufacturing has been in business for almost ten years serving commercial and Department of Defense customers. During this time we have continuously refined and improved our business practices and instituted many cost savings techniques to the benefit of our customers. We successfully passed our ISO 9001:2008 registration audit in April, 2010 and are now registered to that ISO standard.
Teaming
Radnor Manufacturing anticipates completing all task orders with internal resources. We will contract finish work, such as painting, with that vendor on an individual purchase order basis. If it becomes beneficial and in the best interests of the government to add a subcontractor for a certain project or projects, Radnor will propose this to the PCO.

Quality Management System
Radnor Manufacturing recently achieved ISO 9001:2008 registration. Our quality management system (QMS) is a detailed, comprehensive program that operates smoothly within the well-known ISO standard. Our best practices require constant contact with our customers. We carefully analyze each customer requirement. When appropriate we recommend changes to the customer to improve the final product, e.g., finish, material, dimensional aspects of a drawing etc. If the customer approves our recommendations, we incorporate them into our manufacturing process.
Our team focuses on producing defect-free parts that are delivered on time. During the manufacturing process we utilize First Article, In-Process Sampling and Final Inspection procedures to ensure product quality. Our QMS enhances customer satisfaction by fulfilling requirements and soliciting feedback.
